Payment not credited to account
Nearly a year ago I used the check advance service at the Midfield location in Birmingham AL. The account was satisfied by two aotu drafts.
I returned to use the service and was told they were no longer accepting Chime accounts. Fast forward, I learned they returned to accepting Chime but I was told there was no record of payment from the previous account I was never contacted by the collection agency and EasyMoney Midfield has not researched their records to confirm the payment I was told to contact the collector who told me I would have to submit documentation to prove the payment. The account that was used for payment has been closed. It seems that ethical business practices and efficient record keeping is not EasyMoney practices.
An EasyMoney customer service agent said because the loan was sold EasyMoney would not have an interest in the account. Far from the truth being my current loan availability is being based on an account that they have no interest.
Worse there is a customer in my area with my same name and different middle initial. In essence, EasyMoney got their money easily.
